Alana had left th watering hole hours ago, and was now wandering the, what the lionesses at the watering hole had called the "Pridelands." She sniffed the air. "Woah!" she had never smelt so many lions in one place before. She peered out from the boulder she was passing. First, she noticed a large rock, big enough for several lion prides. Second, she saw a regal lion with a flowing mane, much like the one who had stolen her antelope many sunrises ago, playing with many cubs and a lioness. She then saw a lone lioness, purched atop a slim tree watching the goings-on in the clearing. The lioness just watched, ready to strike. The prideland lioness slowly walked near the tree, thought for a second, and put all her weight against the tree. The tree collapsed, and the lioness leaped from the tree onto the boulder in which Alana was hidden behind. She widened her eyes in astonishment as a wry smile spread over the second lioness snout. Alana lifted her lip in an inaudible snarl and thought- she's up to no good. Alana left no time to think, she sprang. She leaped from behind the boulder and landed inches from the lioness. She is big, she thought. Alana's head was only up to her haunches. She grimaced. Then, I'll guess I'll use my special technique. Alana circled the second lioness, keeping her eyes on everything she did, swinging her tail back and forth. Suddenly, she slipped under the lioness and rolled her shoulders, lifting her off the rock and having her plummet to the ground.
