At an early age, her father became obbessed with supernatural ideas. He though if two twins could align their soul correctly using mental streghnth, therefore obtaining godhood. Salki and her twin sister spent their entire lives learning how to banish all emotions and seek an invisible bond. In the end, this failed and her sister went crazy, going on akilling spree that wiped out her father and mother. However, Salki was left alive as the soul-aligning had avtually created a small bond that stopped her from eliminating the closest soul to hers.
Salki then wandered the world. Unrealizing, lions have often told her of how distant or indifferent she acted. She would simply answer "Is that so?" or "Ah..." or some other answer of a similiar way. She has never attempted once the regain her emotions. She is truly a walking ghost, a soulless memory that resembles a machine with no life.
