Leilana streaked through the long grasses, killing small flowers, and succesfully driving insects off course. Her strong muscled legs pushed to their lmiits, until her figure almost blurred out like a cheetah. Her paws ached duly as the leaped over a small log and her eyes were narrowed into determind slits.

The lioness forcefully stopped herself, her claws raking against the plants and dirt so that she drifted to the side until she stopped. At the last moment, she fell over, legs in the air.

"Ow," she muttered as she flexed her induvidual paws and turned her exhausted body over.

Three and a half laps in ten seconds... her mind counted in thought.

She'd almost beat her speed record. She just needed to train some more. Despite aching legs and less than happy muscles, she sprinted on, determind to become faster than any lion ever before and after her.

[Fahari]

The massive frame of the one time in-caged hybrid stalked through what he came to know as the high plains. He wasn't hunting nor had he planned on it, so he was casually striding around the area. The hybrid's name was Fahari, his massive build lent it self well to his height. He was relaxed but still kept himself somewhat alert his ears perking upright every time a noise was hear, his eyes consistently scanning his surroundings looking for movement. He had found himself alone again, he decided to rest the beating sun prayed upon his heavily coated body.

His stride began to slow as he reached a small flat boulder, it was pressed against a hanging tree and was covered by the tree's heavy brush. Fahari leaped upon the flat boulder his paws tingling at the smooth and cool surface of the boulder. Fahari then lowered his head and front legs into a play bow like posture before pulling his back legs forward. He plopped onto the boulder softly as he let out a massive roar/yawn before closing his eyes and resting his throbbing body.

Jaylia padded restlessly through the short savannah grasses that helpfully let her blend, yet her faded black eyes were hard to hide but there was no need. She herself had no need for them anyway. Jaylia opened her maw taking a taste of the air, careful to set her paws in the right place, making sure she wouldn't fall into an unexpecting hole of some depth which she terribly hated. The sudden scent of another lion- maybe two reched her sensitive nose. She lifted her head slightly, ears swiveling from side to side. But it wasn't long before she stopped and crouched down in the cover of a savannah bush, hidden by her golden pelt yet she was widely aware of the world around her. Each scent and each sound she used to pin point every living and non-living thing around her.

Jaylia tooka deep breath once again. She had only come here to hunt yet it seems like there was nothing to prey upon today. It was usual for food has been pretty scarce these days, as Jaylia has noticed. She lowered her head and perked up her ears and listened even closer. Maybe someone around here would be willing enough to share food to a scavenger like herself, but it was not likely.

Leilana streaked past Jaylia, barely noticing her for her surroudings seemed to blur and cave in because of her speed. Paws sprinting into a morph of color, Leilana dimly felt her long un trimmed fighter claws scrap uncomfortabaly against the ground when she didn't leap high enough.

As she passed a familiar tree that marked the ending of the lap, she noted something stranegely dark yellow orange ahead.

A boulder?

Leilana leaped as high as possible, but her hind feet hit soft fur and her entire frame was pulled down and smacked into a strange looking creature. The fact it resembled both a tiger and a lion was no concern - no, Lei's first thoughts were simple woah it's hummoungous!.

"Ack!" she whined, in a flurry of annoyance and panick. What if this humoungous random creature thing was dangerous?

[Fahari]

Fahari had fallen into a light slumber one which he wished wouldn't be disturbed. His mind briefly fluttered heavily with his days in the reserve, before he was awoken rather abruptly. Before he even had a chance to respond he felt a sensation of pain hit him in the ribs, he leaped into the air. Much like a scared cat would do when in deep sleep and disturbed by a loud noise. His heart quickened and his body tensed immediately as he landed flat, he ended up on the ground next to what appeared to disturb him. This creature was small in comparison to him and must have been going at an incredible speed to cause such harm to his ribs, which were protected by layers of muscle. He thought independently for a moment and then stood up, he feel back down rather quickly and noticed that his entire left side bothered him. He ignored the pain as most large animals do and stood up anyway. He puffed briefly and took a few large breaths before backing himself up and letting out a massive roar.

The roar was meant as a warning, he was not usually so abrupt with his greetings but he had sensed another nearby in his panic and wasn't about to be ambushed for sleeping under a random tree. He curled his lips back and showed his massive front teeth, swiveling his ears forward and focusing his violet eyes on the disturbance he stood with a dignified yet powerful stance. The muscles that supported his frame rippling firmly and visibly. His entire body acted like one giant muscle, contracting and flexing at every moment, continuously for however long he needed.

Leilana wasn't one who responded to roars well. Her slkills at apologizies ranked the lowest in the land and her chance of retreating lower. And it didn't change for that angry looking lelephant, so it wasn't changing for this... lion. Tiger. Thing. Whatever.

If only she could even name what it was.

Instead, hoping her head would remain where it was, leaped back and went into an offensive position, a snarl across her muzzle. She could at least threaten it right?

"WHat's wrong with you?!" she growled in displeasure, eyes narrowing into slits. Compared to this giant, she might as well have been a cub, but this was worth a try, right? Even if she might be a dismantaled bloody mess later.

Jaylia nearly leaped backward in surprise by the mighty roar that boomed loud in her ears, letting out a counter-yelp. She hated loud sounds, especially at random for her hearing was much more accute and anything to loud may even cause her to go deaf. She backed up a bit suddenly realizing what she has done: given up her cover.

The two others seemed to be tense. Hopefully they hadn't noticed her at all.

But with Jaylia's luck, it wasn't likely.
