Why?:
Because this is my favorite Lion King character and I've waited for the chance that I'd get to rp as him. At first I was like: "Noo..there aren't any other lion king rps anymore and I'm too lazy to make my own. I will never get a chance to rp as Kovu" But then I found this forum and I finally get the chance too. Plus, I am really good with his personality and such.
I think I've got his personality down packed. He is rather stubborn and usually doesn't like to admit that he is wrong when he is. He might be kinda a hard shell outside, but inside he is soft and caring and the only lioness that could get that soft side out of him is Kiara. Knowing that he has a better life, he doesn't want to loose it and does everything and/or anything the protect the ones he loves.

Roleplay Example:
Kovu was growing bored as he walked through the pridelands. He needed something to do, and quick! Looking around, the wind gently brushing through his mane, he narrowed his eyes and let the tip of his tail flick slightly. It wasn't long before he seen a mouse. At first he was simply going to walk away and ignore it, but he couldn't help to eye the small thing as he chewed on what seemed to be some seeds from a flower it was sitting next to. Kovu's paw steps were gentle and he kept it that way, only ten or so, feet away from the small rodent. The small clearing in the Flower Meadows ground helped him see the small thing. Being a lion, he had rather good eye sight and was able to spot it from afar. Must resist..just walk away. He thought to himself as he let out a light sigh and tried to push himself, into taking a step in the other direction. But he didn't move, he couldn't move, Kovu refused to move.
He was a good hunter and there was no way that he was going to let a chance like this pass him up. Swiftly lowering himself to the ground, using the tall grass as his covering as he started to make his way towards to mouse. Kovu knew that he couldn't hide himself for long and that he would become seen by the rodent in only a few seconds but he was up for the chase. Picking up speed, he lunged at the small mouse and curled his lips upwards to bare only a bit of his fangs. "I got you now!" He growled.
Jumping he pounced down on the rodent hoping the catch it through his paws. But it seemed that the small helpless thing that he was going to kill wasn't so helpless at all. It had it's own line of defense, blending into it's surroundings it had happened to get away. "Dangit.." The lion snorted. Guess today just wasn't his lucky day. He took a step back to comfortably rest himself into a sitting position. This wasn't his last time that he was going to try and catch a mouse. There will always be other opportunities for him. He started to grow curious to what Kiara was doing, he was never bored when he was around her. She always had something adventuress to do and oh how he liked to have adventures. "Well, better get back to pride rock" He reminded himself.
Standing up straight he shook his pelt from any dirt that laid upon it. Turning tail, the large lion started to head back to the all known Pride Rock. Hopefully there was something he could grub on over there.
