Is this true, or is it just our lack of success and surplus
of failure that bring us to think that this life is truely meant?
Apologies and excuses dont mean a thing, you know, we
made it all up.
For ages, before known life, the faithful wolves of Naia have
lived by metaphor, by truthful yet fowl secretcy. A lifestyle
which they can only understand. They follow by no religion,
no God, yet they have their elements, their own beliefs that
seperate them from the rest.
Yet, some make up their own following so that they can stay
pure by their own rights, cultures go further than the areas
of physical geography. A handful of wolves are perfectionists,
and find flaws in every aspect of the elemental no-religion
freedom. They have yet to become recongized to Naia as
an actual pack or group, but they're there, laying, breathing,
taunting the very soul of Naia.
Aside from these proclaimed 'worshippers', there are different
attractions and celebrations that the regular wolf communities
all take part in. The major of these celebrations being the Alochive
Festival, held once every three months, in celebration of the
elements.
The worshippers did something tragic and death-defying at the
first scheduled Alochive.
They raided. Killed the alphas and reigned, forcing Gods and
religion upon the living. And even as the packs were taken
back and won again by their rightful owners, the main Gods of
the elements stuck.
Vulcan of Fire.
Chtonic of Earth.
Akodi of Air.
Poseidon and Calypso of Water.
and
Zeus and Pallas Athene of Sky.
The elements seemed to become a mistake that messed with the
meaning of life and time. Love and hate. The wolves became
greedy with their powers, killed, more so slaughtered others just
to prove that their element was one step above the rest. When
really, they are all equal.
Some wolves, like in Naia's past, broke off, pro-claiming this time
that there were more elements to be known of, like the power
of mind, illusion, ice, and nothing. Some believed that you didnt
necessarily need an elemental following to be a member of Naia's
wreked, tattered society. Many of the residents didnt accept the
idea of nothing and mind as an 'element' and forced them away from
the plans of the future, still, they linger.
Tensions, feuds, all out battles, friendships, and alli situations have
broken out over all of the current elemental packs, even the agonostic
or 'non-believers' as they are now called.
And just where do your beliefs stand?
Influence yourself, make the right decision.
It could be your last.
It could mean the end of the world as we know it.
