10 years ago, a scientist by the name of James Zinner performed the experiment that would change life as we know it. Dr Zinner had experimented with chemically altering the DNA of cats with that of chemical fumes and unknown toxic wastes. His experiments proved successful after coming up with what researchers could only call 'Demon Cats'. These scaley, large dog-like creatures possessed great benifits such as wings, horns, double tails, and a scaley, blue-black coat as hard as rock. The scientists suggested that they had not realized the presence of the success due to the off and on trigger of this marvelous effect. Only when the cats were scared, surprized, or angered could they involuntarily activate their new-found form. Of course, when the cats learned to control their form, they took advantage of the researchers. It started only as small things, like extra food or attention. But months later, the Demon cats turned and broke loose. Ripping open the flesh of the scientists, and eating the meaty organs found inside their rib cages. They let loose the rest of the experiments to follow them into the unknown streets of Coal Creek. When the police saw the horrific scene at the lab, they issued an evacuation. Some people stayed, but soon moved due to the lack of running stores. Soon the town was dead, and fell into the paws of the Demon Cats. But a new power is arising. The Demon Cats find they are not alone in Coal Creek. New cats belonging to 'kins' are in the city. Each of these kins holds the power to morph into a certain animal. They threaten to rule the city, and will kill anyone who gets in their way. As a war between Clans and Kins approaches, a human war rages out. Armies of humans are coming, and when both parties meet, it won't be pretty. Two wars begin, both will end on Coal Creek grounds.
The creek will run red with the blood of many,
The innocent will die when the flags show.
Four sides, three breeds, two wars, one end.
