You know all those threads in the "entertainment" section of the site, the ones labeled "What video game have you last played" or "what song are you listening to"? You know those? Those threads where you're not allowed to type more than like one or two lines/sentences and you're pretty much listing stuff for no reason...
What's the point of doing that? I mean, not being able to comment on those things takes all the fun out it. You're just... listing stuff. And I guess it makes sense because someone can then pm you after reading what was listed and comment on the things you said that way, but if you ask me, that hurts the forum as a whole because what could be turned into threads and post and added to the post count to make this place appear more active is being conducted completely privately where potential members can't see it and others can add to the discussion. It isolates people that way, keeps social interactions away from the public and makes it seem like nothing is going on here when, in truth, people might actually be talking all the time.
I dunno. I just thought it seemed kind of useless, if not negative to the development of the forum and figured I should share my findings. *shrugs* I thought about it while bored and replying to those very threads for lack of anything else to do. X3

Perhaps I'm just dense but that pretty much says "Don't say anything, just post and walk away". You specifically limit comments only to declarations of awesomeness, which excludes anything constructive or helpful or simply chat-like. If I wanted to say that I found a particular game difficult... well, that doesn't count as a 'declaration of awesomeness' as I might not necessarily find that game to be enjoyable or 'awesome' since I'm apparently stuck in it. As such, according to your rules, I would not be allowed to say anything.
I thought you wanted everything to be as strict as it is (which, as a personal tid-bit, I find to be a bit of a turn off as overly-strict staff tend to be overbearing and abuse their powers over other members... you don't, obviously, but I'm just saying, sharing my thoughts and what not). If not you might want to give it a once over and rephrase it a little. ;3
